PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production facility control device which realizes start of a new production line in a short period of time, and easily copes with addition and change of work stations. SOLUTION: A compact production instructing device 7 is arranged forming a pair with a machining and assembling facility 3 arranged for every working station 2. This production instructing device 7 controls the corresponding machining and assembling facility 3. An input terminal 6 is connected to the production instruction device 7, and both the production instruction devices 7 are connected to each other through a communication line 8. Basic control program for the production instruction device 7 is previously set for a manual line, for a conveyor line with a workpiece stopping mechanism using a stopper, and for a continuous conveyor line. A program appropriate for the content of machining and assembling of the working station 2 is selected among the three kinds of control programs, or a plurality of control programs are combined, and finely corrected when necessary to complete a desirable production instruction control program.
