PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method which realizes an in-plane uniformity with a desired degree of precision in an optical film or the like in a method for coating a supporting body with a coating liquid using a die, and to provide a method for preparing an irregularity-free coating film and a coating film obtained by the method, and to provide an optical film laminated by the coating film and an image display device applying the optical film.
