PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster prevention head cover with which one can evacuate to an evacuation exit avoiding heat or a poisonous gas when one encounters fire at building fire, traffic facilities or the like, and a smoke or flame obstructs an escape way. SOLUTION: The head cover comprises a bag 1 for enclosing the head made of a fire-resistant material, a transparent plate 2 disposed in the center of the bag, and a fastener 3 mounted further beneath this.
