PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fabricate an attaching portion in an uppermost end of a container for attaching an operating head portion with a different member. SOLUTION: In forming the attaching portion having a spiral portion formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof, for attaching the operating head portion for jetting an extinguishing agent in the uppermost end of the container of the extinguishing agent, a tubular main body with a bottom and an open upper end, and the attaching member for attaching to the upper end opening portion of the tubular main body, having the spiral portion formed on the outer peripheral surface are provided as separated members, and the attaching member is integrally fitted to the outer peripheral surface of the upper end opening portion of the tubular main body. Thereby, the wall thickness of the tubular main body of the fire extinguisher is made comparatively thin to make it light, and to attain good productivity and quality. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
