Manufacturing of a DVD-Audio requires more time than manufacturing of a CD because the technique is more complicated and the work amount is increased. Moreover, a new authoring technique and engineer are required which are not required for manufacturing of the CD. Accordingly, communication between a mastering engineer and an authoring engineer is broken and the DVD-Audio cannot be handled as one commodity. The problem is how to manufacture the DVD-Audio effectively. In order to solve this problem, the sense and technique of the mastering engineer are separated from each other and the automatic sound quality adjustment technique is introduced. Mastering, authoring, and emulation are made into a unitary body so that a technique for manufacturing by one engineer is developed.
|
