ARTIFICIAL EYE HAVING MANY TEAR PITS FOR FEED OF OXYGEN AND CIRCULATION OF TEAR IN ITS CONJUNCTIVA PART TO REALIZE LONG TERM USE

PURPOSE: Provided is an artificial eye which has a number of tear pits in its conjunctiva part to improve the feed of oxygen and circulation of tear for long term use. CONSTITUTION: An artificial eye(10) having a number of tear pits(50) is placed in its conjunctiva part(20). Since the tear pits are covered with eyelids, they are formed in conjunctiva part of artificial eye for aesthetic reasons. The tear pit has a diameter of 0.5 to 10 mm, particularly 3 to 5 mm on account of the good circulation of tear and the hardness of a artificial eye. The figure of the tear pit is in the form of circle, ellipse, diamond, triangle and the like, with circle or ellipse being preferred.
