PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning blade for an electrophotographic apparatus excellent in durability and exhibiting stable cleaning performance under a wide range of temperature condition over a prolonged period of time. SOLUTION: In the cleaning blade for the electrophotographic apparatus with a blade member comprising a polyurethane elastomer, the polyurethane elastomer contains (A) an isocyante compound, (B) an adipate type polyester polyol and (C) a chain extender or a crosslinking agent, the blending ratio between the above (A) and (B)+(C) is (A)/ä(B)+(C)}=1.20-1.35 in molar ratio, and the blending ratio between the above (B) and (C) is (B)/(C)=0.30-0.65 in molar ratio.
