PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high efficiency motor in which vibration and noise are reduced by reducing cogging torque and a torque ripple without complicating the structure of a stator and a rotor and then increasing effective flux by decreasing leakage flux, and to provide a high efficiency, low vibration and low noise apparatus mounting that motor. SOLUTION: A motor embedding a permanent magnet in the rotor is provided with a cut at the edge of a magnet hole on the protrusion side proximate to the outer circumferential part of the rotor.
