PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera assembly which requires neither access to a wide range nor a complicated tool in adjusting a lens in a factory and where the lens is moved along an optical axis so that a focus at one position is adjusted independently of a focus at another position. SOLUTION: The camera assembly has a mount that defines the optical axis. A lens barrel has a main portion and a track portion protruding outwardly from the main portion. The lens barrel is movable along the optical axis between an extended position and a retracted position relative to the mount. The lens barrel is non-rotatable about the optical axis. A guide extends forward from the mount. The travel stop is mounted to the guide. The travel stop has a skid that is spirally sloped about the optical axis. The track portion defines a segment of the skid that is aligned with the track portion in a direction parallel to the optical axis and abuts on the track portion in the extended position of the lens barrel.
