PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tightly seal an imaging element when providing a rotation bearing mechanism of a lens-barrel to avoid degradation in the photograph quality due to dust. SOLUTION: The unit lens-barrel 18 consists of a main lens-barrel 16 having both photographing lens 3 and CCD image sensor 20 integrally built in the main lens-barrel 16 and a flange 17 provided on the outer side of the main lens-barrel 16. The flange 17 is rotatably attached to the lens-barrel frame 22 via the rolling balls 24. The flange 17 has a lens drive motor 21. And the lens drive motor 21 works as a weight to maintain the horizontal attitude of the imaging element by turning the unit lens-barrel 18 when the frame 22 inclines. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
