PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR cooler of an EGR device, improved in cooling efficiency by generating uniform flow of cooling water in a shell. SOLUTION: In this EGR cooler of the EGR device, an EGR gas introduction pipe and an EGR gas lead-out pipe are connected to the shell storing two or more tubes, a cooling water introduction pipe and a cooling water lead-out pipe are connected to the peripheral wall outside of the bottom side of the shell, and an EGR gas passage extending from the EGR gas introduction pipe through the tube to the EGR gas lead-out pipe and a cooling water passage extending from the cooling water introduction pipe and the cooling water lead-out pipe is formed in the shell.
