It is intended to provide a polynucleotide regulating the transcription of a human high-affinity IgE receptor (FcϵRI) beta chain gene which contains the whole base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 or a part thereof, and a method of regulating the transcription of FcϵRIbeta chain gene which involves the step of promoting the binding of the transcription regulatory region of the FcϵRIbeta chain gene containing the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 to MZF-1. It is also intended to provide a screening method with the use of a method of regulating the transcription of FcϵRIbeta chain gene which involves the step of promoting the binding of the transcription regulatory region of the FcϵRIbeta chain gene containing the base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 to MZF-1 and a kit therefor, thereby making it possible to develop a novel preventive/remedy for an allergic disease.
