The modular chemical micro-reaction system has at least one micro-system component, as a reaction zone with a volume of =500 mu l and at least one supply container for raw material extractions, sensors for physical and/or chemical values, interlinked by channels and valves for exchange of materials. A data processing system with a control (36), for simulation, has process components (39a) for simulation held in a database (38). To simulate the model system, simulator components (39d) are activated in the database for an integrated solver (39c) to process the data based on a specific equation system.
