The cleanable spill valve (1) has a feed and a drain housing (1a,1b), a shut-off component (1d) operated by a first rod (1e), and a spring arrangement (2) indirectly connected to the first rod to press the shut-off component against a sealing face (1f) to close off a passage (1c) connecting the feed and drain housings. A double acting drive (3) is installed between the spill valve and spring arrangement and houses a drive piston (3b). The drive piston is pressurized on both sides by pressure medium and on one side is directly or indirectly rigidly connected to the first rod and on the other side to a first spring stop (2b).
