The mounting bracket for a building roof mounted solar collector has a base (4) fitting onto a U-shaped rail of the collector to attach it to a tile hook. The base has a frangible lug (6) spaced to an upper part (7) which fits into the frame of the solar collector. The bracket can be held together under tension by a clamping screw (8) which causes the frangible section to break. |
