FILE SWITCHING SYSTEM AND SWITCHING METHOD

A system for switching an entire file to a new file at the time of altering the data in the file, in which reliability of file switching allowing access without locking reference is enhanced at the time of reference. The switching system (1) comprises a section (2) for storing the name of a file used up to the switching point in time, two file content storage sections (3, 4) consisting of one storage section in which the content of a file used up to current point in time has been copied and the other storage section into which the content of a new file should be copied at the switching point in time, and a switching section (5) for storing the name of the file used up to the switching point in time into the storage section (2) at the time of switching, copying the content of the new file into the other storage section, and erasing the content stored in one storage section.
