<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator that can highly integrate discrete electrodes, and an ink-jet recording head equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric actuator 11 is constituted such that: a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic layers 13, 13 and 13 on which a plurality of discrete electrodes 12 are electrically insulated and disposed, respectively, and a plurality of ceramic layers 15, 15 and 15 on which common electrodes 14 are formed, respectively, are alternately laminated and formed; the plurality of discrete electrodes 12 that are disposed in almost the same position in the thickness direction are electrically connected via-electrodes 17; a non-electrode part 14a having no electrode at the position where the via-electrode 17 is formed is arranged on the common electrode 14 so that the common electrode 14 is electrically insulated from the via-electrode 17; and the length of the non-electrode part is not shorter than the length of the via-electrode in the same direction of the length of the non-electrode part by 20μm.
