<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for a side collision in an automobile that is easily installable on a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: Upper ends 9 and 14 of a cover member 6 and a base member 4 are fitted together in an exposed state.
