A housing for parts of an arrangement for measuring the physical characteristics of a medium contains a housing wall at least partially enclosing the housing interior and a front cover. The front cover is mounted, at least in the region of one edge, in a plane which intersects a base plane at an angle (27) in the range 10 to 80 deg., esp. in the range 30 to 60 deg. or in partic. 45 deg. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for housing electronics for determining flow speed. Simple to mount and facilitates measurement value reading.
