PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a cylinder cut-off type internal combustion engine preventing hunting of operation switch even when constant speed running control is started. SOLUTION: When execution of the running control is started (S202), a full cylinder operation is kept when the full cylinder operation is operated (S208, S210). Even when the full cylinder operation is not performed, when a gradient of a running road of a vehicle is more than a threshold value, a cylinder cut-off operation is switched to the full cylinder operation (S208, S212, S210), and after a predetermined time passes, a full cylinder operation request is canceled (S206, S204, S216).
