PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position an article support without using a special positioning structure on the object side in attaching the article support with a function of holding an interval between an object and an article to the object. SOLUTION: An attaching part 16 of the article support 10 comprises a hook element 20 standing on the back side 12b of a base part and a multi-function element 22. The multi-function element 22 has a pair of spacer elements 32, a pair of stopper elements 34 and a positioning projection 36 integrated with one another. The positioning projection 36 is made to project higher than the hook element 20 relative to the base part 12, and is inserted into an opening of the object prior to the hook element 20 when the article support 10 is attached to the object. When the article support 10 is inserted into the opening of the object slightly dislocated from a regular attaching position, the positioning projection 36 is slid with guide faces 36a and 36b appropriately in contact with the rim of the opening, by which the hook element 20 is automatically guided to an engagement position where the hook element 20 is engaged with the rim of the opening.
