PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial semiconductor laser module which is capable of eliminating a parasitic reactance produced in a semiconductor laser circuit from an input to a semiconductor laser so as to carry out high-speed modulation of 10 gigabits. SOLUTION: The coaxial semiconductor laser module is composed of a semiconductor laser 1, a heat sink board 2 which is formed of a dielectric board, mounted with the semiconductor laser 1 on its surface, and equipped with lines 17a to 17b connected to the semiconductor laser 1 formed of conductive film and deposited on its surface, a circular metal stem 3 where lead wires 7 and 8 are fixed while penetrating through it, and a supporting stand 4 where the heat sink board 2 is mounted. The lines 17a to 17c form a coplanar line 17 composed of an input signal line 17a and two grounding lines 17b arranged on the sides of the line 17a, and the lead wires 7 and 8 are bonded to the lines 17a to 17c.
