PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a momentary switch located far from an LED to be pushed by a button without fail. SOLUTION: The button device is constructed of a prism 5 which is inserted in a support hole 4 formed in a panel 1 and formed by a translucent material, a button 6 fixed in the center of the prism 5, a semi-transparent cover 7 in which an insertion hole 8 is formed and which is installed in a panel 1 covering the support hole 4 in the state of the button 6 inserted into the insertion hole 8, an LED 9 which is provided on a substrate 2 jointed to the panel 1 and provided at the corresponding position to the support hole 4, a momentary switch 10 which is provided on the substrate 2 and at a position apart from the LED 9, and a movable part 14 of which one end is provided on the substrate 2 in free rotation through a hinge 13 and the other end is opposed to the momentary switch 10 and supports the prism 5 at the middle part, and is formed with a through hole 18 at the position corresponding to the prism 5.
