The method is applied in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries for derivation of polyphenol-rich, especially of phlavonoids, plant extracts. It is simplified, while the derived purified of resinous substances dry planting extracts are 2 to 3 times richer in polyphenols. The method is carried out by treating the drug with 50 to 80% alcohol, and in certain cases with water, the derived after distillation from alcohol water solution is passed through a layered filter material and at high temperatures is subject to dispersive drying.
