Disclosed is a tube spring (11) for pretensioning a piezoelectric or magnetorestrictive actuator (5) which is suitable for actuating fuel injection valves of fuel injection systems in internal combustion engines. Said tube spring (11) comprises at least two openings (24) that are used as assembly catches. The tube spring is pretensioned during assembly by means of tensile force that acts upon the assembly catches.
