<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intruder warning device for a vehicle capable of surely issuing a warning even when a person or a pet or a baggage is in the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This intruder warning device for a vehicle comprises: a thermal image acquiring means 11 for acquiring a thermal image in the vehicle; an occupant detecting means 12 for detecting the position and the number of occupants by extracting a temperature area corresponding to the body temperature of a person or an animal; an alarm determining means 15 for determining if a heat source is an object to be alarmed when the occupant detecting means detects the heat source; a door lock detecting means 13 for detecting a door lock operation from the outside of the vehicle; a control means 14 that performs a control for activating the alarm determining means after the door lock detecting means detects a door lock from the outside of the vehicle and the occupant detecting means detects whether a person or an animal is present, and that also performs a control for outputting a warning signal when the alarm determining means determines that a heat source to be alarmed is present; and an alarming means 16 for issuing a warning therearound when the warning signal is output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
