PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a spot pin capable of precisely spotting even with a slight positional slippage. SOLUTION: A spot head 42 mounted on an orthogonal coordinate robot retains a plurality of spot pins 16. The robot moves the spot head 32 to spot a reagent for biochemical analysis in a spot area provided on a substrate. The spot area comprises an adsorptive material filled in a through-hole or recessed part. Each spot pin 16 has a head part 52 and a pin part 53 smaller in diameter than it. In order to suck the reagent, a hole 53b for partially opening the tapered tip of the pin part 53 is formed at the tip of the pin part 53. Both open-side edges 53c and 53d of the hole 53b are formed in a tapered end or round end shape so that it can be guided into the through-hole or recessed part even if it collides with the edge thereof.
