PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller using at least two transmitters to transmit a control signal to an object apparatus, in particular, a remote controller used for controlling a control apparatus (object apparatus) for an air-conditioner or the like, capable of preventing giving a sense of incongruity to an operator of the control apparatus because of a difference from control display contents in liquid crystal display sections of the transmitters. SOLUTION: The remote controller is provided with a first transmitter 2 including: a plurality of first operation switches 252; a first display section 261; and a control section D3 for updating display contents of the first display section 261 in accordance with the operation of the first operation switches 252 and transmitting the control signal on the basis of display contents after being updated to the air-conditioner 1 as first transmission information, and a second transmitter 3 including: second operation switches 351; a second display section 363; and a control section F2 for updating display contents of the second display section 363 in accordance with the operation of the second operation switches 351 and transmitting the control signal on the basis of display contents after being updated to the transmitter 2 as second transmission information, wherein the first transmitter 2 has a reception section D2 for receiving the second transmission information, and when receiving the second transmission information, the control section D3 updates the display contents of the first display section 261 on the basis of the second transmission information.
