PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal digital assistant by which a call becomes possible even at a folded state without increasing outline size by arranging a voice output device at a hinge part and a normal call and a speaker phone call are further switched by rotating the voice output device in the folding type personal digital assistant with communication function. SOLUTION: In the personal digital assistant equipped with at least a display part 7, an operation part 9, a power supply part, a control part and in which a first housing 1 on the side of the display part 7 and a second housing 2 on the side of the operation part 9 are foldably linked by a hinge part 3, the hinge part 3 is provided with a voice output means 4.
