PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polychloroprene two-pack type adhesive composition having increased heat resisting strength. SOLUTION: The emulsion polymerization of chloroprene is carried out by using polyvinyl alcohol as an emulsifier and/or a dispersant. The resultant polychloroprene latex, as a main component, is combined with a hardening agent mainly comprising isophorone diisocyanate to obtain the polychloroprene two-pack type aqueous adhesive having excellent normal, water-resistant and heat-resistant adhesive strength.
