PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastisol having excellent storage stability of a sol viscosity, and providing a molded product hardly causing bleeding of a plasticizer and having excellent mechanical characteristics; and to provide an acrylic polymer particle and a method for producing the particle. SOLUTION: The acrylic polymer particle has a core/shell structure regulated so that the weight ratio of a core polymer to a shell polymer may be (20/80)-(20/80). The core polymer comprises 30-85 wt.% aromatic monovinyl monomer unit, 5-60 wt.% methyl methacrylate unit and 10-65 wt.% 6-21C (meth)acrylic ester unit. The shell polymer is obtained by polymerizing a monomer for the shell polymer in the presence of the core polymer and a chain transfer agent, and comprises 30-99.5 wt.% methyl methacrylate unit, 0.5-6 wt.%α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid unit, and 0-69.5 wt.% other monomer units.
