PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an astronomical projection apparatus capable of projecting a large number of celestial objects and effectively utilizing energy. SOLUTION: The astronomical projection system is equipped with a projection original plate 2, a projection lens 3, and a mirror 4. The projection original plate 2 is has a light transmission point at the position showing the celestial body such as a fixed star, and the pattern of the celestial body to be projected is recorded thereon. The projection lens 3 is positioned at the front part of the projection original plate 2 in the projection direction, and focuses a luminous flux passing through the light transmission point of the projection original plate 2 on a dome screen. The mirror 4 reflects the light which does not pass through the projection original plate 2 toward the projection original plate. The mirror 4 is positioned on the rear part of the projection original plate 2 in the projection direction. The mirror 4 is provided with a light transmission point 40 for making the light incident, and the light transmissive point 40 is connected with the end part of an optical fiber 5.
