An improved method for fitting a brake disc and a wheel mounting has a one piece hub structure (3) rotating about the hub and provided with two axially spaced flanges (7, 10) for fitting the wheel mounting (2) and the brake disc. This provides an improved ventilation for the brake discs and a simpler construction. The two flanges provide axial and radial support for the wheel mounting and brake disc. The brake disc mounting is designed to accommodate thermal distortion of the brake disc.
