<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound source device which generates audio signals when MIDI (musical instrument digital interface) commands are received. <P>SOLUTION: When a sound generation command of supplied sound generation control data is received, an electronic musical instrument sound source device reads waveform data corresponding to the sound generation data of the command from memory 40, in which waveform data of each tone color are stored, at a prescribed reading pitch and outputs the read data as the sound generation data of the command. The electronic musical instrument sound source device is provided with a circuit 2 which converts the difference between a note number of the read waveform data and a note number of sound generating data of voice into an octave component and a musical scale component, a conversion table 3 to which the musical scale is supplied and a circuit 4 to which the octave component and the musical scale component of a logarithmic table output are supplied so as to convert them into the prescribed reading pitch that is used to read the data of the memory and the data are read from the memory 40 with the prescribed reading pitch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
