<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and low-cost steering structure preventing vehicular behavior at the time of abrupt steering from being unstable at, in a hydraulic power steering device leading hydraulic fluid of a pump driven by an electric motor into a power cylinder to generate assisting force. <P>SOLUTION: A ball nut 9 screwed with a ball screw shaft rotated according to operation of a steering member through a ball is integrally formed with a piston 10, and moved in an axial direction X in the power cylinder 5. A projecting portion 28 as a specific shape portion is provided on a flat surface 9a of the ball nut 9. Referring to Fig. b, a switch 30 detects the projecting portion 28 when a vehicle is traveling ahead, and outputs a signal to a controlling portion. The controlling portion controls the number of rotations of the electric motor on the basis of detection results of steering speed and vehicular speed, and restricts the number of rotations at a predetermined value or below by inputting the signal from the switch 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
