<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably provide a deionized water with high resistivity and purity by effectively removing weak electrolyte anion such as carbonic acid or silica in water to be treated. <P>SOLUTION: In an electric deionization apparatus, a plurality of anion exchange membranes 13 and cation membranes 14 are alternately arranged between a cathode 12 and an anode 13 to form concentration chambers 15 and desalination chambers 16 alternately, and an ion exchange resin containing an anion exchange resin 10B is filled in the desalination chamber 16. This anion exchange resin is the anion exchange resin wherein a quaternary ammonium exchange group is introduced to a divinylbenzene copolymer with two or more methylene chains. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
