<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer an overpower protection circuit and a stabilized power unit, which can secure a high safety and can automatically restore power supply, detecting that the state of overpower consumption is dissolved, after stopping power supply once even if a fault occurs in one part of apparatuses, and besides are simple of constitution, and a protection method against over power. <P>SOLUTION: This stabilized power supply unit is equipped with an unstable power source 1, an unstable power source breaker 2, a stable voltage generator 3, a power meter 4, an upper power standard value retainer 5, a power comparator 6, a first reference time controller 7, and a second reference time controller 8. The first reference time controller 7 and the second reference time controller 8 control the unstable power breaker 2, and detect over power, and breaks power supply after passage of a delay time, and if over power is dissolved after passage of a waiting time, they automatically restore power supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
