PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of coping with both improved operability and higher image quality. SOLUTION: If an object is moving, when a sport mode mainly chosen in this occasion is established, switching of substrate voltage V<SB>sub</SB>is not performed during photographing by electrically connecting a terminal T<SB>O</SB>and a terminal T<SB>B</SB>of a switch SW<SB>1</SB>not to pass base current of a Transistor T<SB>r1</SB>. If an object stands still, when a normal photographing mode mainly chosen in this occasion is established, switching of the substrate voltage V<SB>SUB</SB>is performed during photographing by electrically connecting the terminal T<SB>O</SB>and a terminal T<SB>A</SB>of the Switch SW<SB>1</SB>and appending a C<SB>tr1</SB>signal to the base side of the transistor T<SB>r1</SB>through a resistor R<SB>1</SB>for a setup to pass emitter current of the Transistor T<SB>r1</SB>.
