<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage generator capable of preventing a latch-up phenomenon and of increasing high pumping efficiency and pumping stability by selecting and using one of two kinds of pumps in the case of the two kinds of pumps having different external voltages. <P>SOLUTION: This high voltage generator is provided with a level detector for selecting one of a plurality of voltage sources according to an option control signal and comparing the selected voltage source with a Vpp voltage, a first oscillator operated according to the option control signal to generate a plurality of pulse signals having different periods, a second oscillator operated according to the option control signal to generate pulse signals, a first charge pump enabled according to the option control signal, and performing a pumping operation according to the output of the first oscillator to generate the Vpp voltage, and a second charge pump enabled according to the option control signal, and performing a pumping operation according to the output of the second oscillator to generate the Vpp voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
