PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line switch by which a plurality of terminals communicate with the outside with one modulator/demodulator by simple structure. SOLUTION: The line switch 22 is provided with a modem 21 which modulates/demodulates signals transmitted/received with a host 4 connected via a communication line 3, a plurality of ports 36, 37 with which a first terminal 29, a second terminal 30 are connected, voltage conversion parts 31, 32 provided corresponding to the respective ports 36, 37 between the modem 21 and the respective ports 36, 37 and a CPU 33 which collects terminal selection signals which the respective ports 36, 37 output by sampling to the voltage conversion parts 31, 32 and establishes transmission paths between the modem 21 and the ports which outputs the terminal selection signals according to the terminal selection signals collected by the CPU 33.
