PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method for drawing no attention of a user to a vectorization processing time. SOLUTION: A message asking whether you proceed to vectorization processing and buttons for processing immediately, for processing later, and for no processing are displayed on an operation screen for asking a user whether vectorization processing is to be carried out or not. When the button for processing later is pressed, vectorization processing is carried out by batch vectorization processing in timing attracting no attention of the user to a waiting time for vectorization processing, for example, when a load of a later MFP 100 is low.
