CLUSTER DISCRIMINATION RESULT DISPLAYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide valid visual display for grasping how precisely a teacher signal is classified according to the difference of kernels when discriminating and analyzing gene expression data over a plurality of items by a Support Vector Machine. SOLUTION: The set of a plurality of kernels and accessory parameters is preliminarily applied, and the discrimination error condition of a teacher signal under each condition is evaluated as the sum of distances from the teacher signal which has not been discriminated to a discrimination hyperplane, and the result is shown with a color map 600. Genes which cannot be discriminated under all the applied conditions are highlighted 601, and a cluster where any included gene cannot be discriminated correctly is highlighted 602.
