PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple-dwelling house enlarging the selection range for purchasing or renting residents while maintaining the productivity of a building. SOLUTION: In this multiple-dwelling house with a plurality of dwelling units different in area and shape, arranged in a horizontal direction and with dwelling units of the same area and shape storied in a vertical direction, the dwelling units B partitioned in the same area and shape are horizontally placed adjacently to each other, or the other dwelling unit of different area and shape is placed in between to arrange at least two or more dwelling units. In the dwelling units B of the same area and shape, vertical drain pipes 3 provided in the dwelling units are arranged in the same positions of the respective dwelling units, and the floor plan of at least one dwelling unit B out of the dwelling units B of the same area and shape is changed from that of the other dwelling units B.
