PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a softener composition which can be supplied as pellets, can variously be molded, is transparent, is free from the bleeding of an oil, and is a highly soft elastomer, and to provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition and a molded article thereof. SOLUTION: This softener composition is characterized by comprising (a) 100 pts. wt. of a non-aromatic hydrocarbon-based rubber softener and (c) 1 to 100 pts. wt. of castor oil and / or its derivative. The thermoplastic elastomer composition is characterized by further adding (b) a hydrogenated and / or partially hydrogenated block copolymer in an amount of 10 to 250 pts. wt. per 100 pts. wt. of (a) the non-aromatic hydrocarbon-based rubber softener to the softener composition.
