The invention relates to construction improvements to be implemented during the customisation, transformation or conversion of vehicles, in order to provide access for and to enable the transport of disabled and/or wheelchair-bound persons. The aforementioned improvements essentially comprise: a single-shell frame device which is disposed below the original chassis of monospace-type vehicles, a removable lateral two-layer ramp, a modification to the axle or suspension bridge, a vehicle suspension compression system and rotating steps. Said improvements can be implemented during the customisation, transformation or conversion of monospace-type vehicles. Moreover, said improvements can also be used for vehicles requiring an increased inner height and/or a reduced vehicle floor to ground height, in order to facilitate the access of disabled persons travelling on foot or in wheelchairs using either the access ramp or the steps. |
