Compact air conditioning unit for outside mounting in a weather proof housing with the condenser under the compressor and with vertical inlet and outlet air streams

A compact air conditioning unit for fitting onto an outside wall has a weather proof housing with the condenser mounted flat under the compressor and with the electrics in a water proof switch housing. The inlet air is drawn vertically from under the housing, is warmed by the condenser before passing over the compressor. This prevents condensation on the compressor especially in winter service and reduces corrosion. The improved layout also provides better access for servicing. The exhaust air is ducted vertically upwards from the top of the housing.
