The present invention relates to a method for removing pigments from a pigmented section of a skin by puncturing the skin at the pigmented section, with a skin puncturing device which is provided with at least one needle, an d then bandaging the punctured section with a suitable adsorbing pad. The pad contains one or more materials, such as saline, which will cause the pigment s at the punctured section to migrate into the outer layer of the skin.
