PURPOSE: A pet garment conforming to the physique and movement characteristics of a pet and a production method thereof are provided to be customized to securely and comfortably fit the pet, thereby allowing a user to make the garment easily just by obtaining measures from the girth, the back torso and the back waist of the pet, and enabling mass production. CONSTITUTION: The production method of the pet garment comprises: actually measuring three application measures from the girth, the back torso and the back waist of the pet; setting reference points and reference lines based on the three application measures; determining all sections to be cut based on predetermined ratios relative to the girth and cutting a body part and shoulder parts; and attaching the shoulder parts to the body part.
