PURPOSE: To provide a filtering apparatus for recycling wastewater in which filtrate primarily treated in a sewage and wastewater treatment system is filtered to a quality level of water that is reused or directly discharged, and the apparatus is fabricated at a relatively low cost and easily maintained and repaired at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: The filtering apparatus(10) for recycling wastewater comprises a perforated plate on a lower portion of which a certain sized main hole(22) is formed, on an upper part of the main hole of which a plurality of perforated holes(24,24') are formed, and at positions adjacent to the periphery of which at least one or more first filtrate holes(26) are formed; frames(30a,30b) which are formed such that the perforated plate is positioned between the frames, on which a cavity is formed such that surfaces of the frames corresponding to the main hole and the plurality of perforated holes of the perforated plate are penetrated, and at both sides of which second filtrate holes(36) corresponding to the first filtrate holes are respectively formed; and a plurality of filtering rods(50) which are installed such that the filtering means are arranged at both sides of the perforated plate, which are connected to the frames in the cavities of the frames, and which are communicated with the second filtrate holes such that filtrate flows to the second filtrate holes.
