<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently load required character resource information by providing a preprocessing part which extracts the classification of character resource information designated in output information and loads information in accordance with extracted classification information. CONSTITUTION:The preprocessing part 24 successively reads out output information 3 related to an output queue 4 to extract the classification of character resource information designated in output information and delivers the designated classification information 26 and output information 3 in an output queue 25 for the purpose of transferring the information to a print processing part 21. Output information 3 related to the output queue 25 is successively taken out by a processing part 21 and outputted to a printer 22 and printed. In this case, the processing part 21 reads out the designated character resource information from a character resource file 8 in accordance with the classification information 26 and loads it to a character resource storage mechanism 7 of the printer 22, and thereafter, the output is started. Consequently, it is normally unnecessary to interrupt the printing to load the character resource information.</p> |
